In advance of an EU Directive, expected to take effect on the 1st January, which would see turf cutting banned, Fine Gael Longford/ Westmeath Senator, Nicky McFadden, has said Minister Gormley must ensure that Ireland retains broad flexibility on how we maintain and use our bog lands.
